I almost forgot, I asked if the yahoo toolbar for firefox could have middle click open the links in new tabs. And it appears to do this now! o-joy
This is really cool because I like to have everything in separate tabs, the drop down arrow acts just like the button with middle click, making it a bigger button or easier to click. Using the left button will load the page on top of the one I was looking at, thats saving me a click to close one. So on the rare case I do want to close a tab I'm viewing I can do this in zero clicks.
I leave the tabs open to be able to bookmark them in a folder. I use to just save em all and have 3 useless pages in a folder of 50. Now I can just open and close a yahoo service and sort tabs at the same time.
I have my normal bookmarks set to always open in new tabs. Middle click on a folder opens all the bookmarks in it in separate tabs.
The googlebrowser was an amusing joke project of mine, a lot of people asked "why would google want to make a browser" The answer is simple, Firefox allows branding. Almost anyone is allowed to create their own distribution of the browser and slap thar company logo on it.
For the fun of it, open internet explorer click. help > about

The Netscape browser is just a firefox on steroids, and the didn't even use the correct addons! But the latest reason "why google should have made the googlebrowser" is even better. It's the yahoo toolbar! I would love to see that toolbar on a firefox build with a Picasa like interface.
I don't care about Yahoo or Google like I care about having useful web tools. www.google.com/firefox
isn't close to enough.
Only because of the number of google users I use to prefer google making this browser.
But now that yahoo has really usefully tools I should add that I could care less who makes a real browser for us.
Community building Mozilla v/s Google I rate about 1/10 Mozilla doesn't know how a user name could be useful.
Community building Google v/s Yahoo I rate about 1/10 My friends have posts called "recent posts " on their profile dated 2004. My profile claims I wrote 1200 words total. What's that? In a day they mean? And it has postings that don't exist anymore on it. Some people are stuck with stuff I find damn offending, anyone could blog about a bad thing that happened. Google will put a personal post like that on your profile page for a year or so.
So, yahoo peeps please make us a web browser now.
Why would all users be forced to use free software to surf? Were is the live support button? Were is my full screen conference call?
I could be a gazilionare with an iq of 45 in need to do business, I should depend on free help?
Take a few years to hard code it in assembly and charge money for it. Opera still isn't worth paying for, it's just to cheap. It should be expensive jet worth every penny.
For something used as frequent as a browser even C+ is useless. I would even dare call assembly a hack compared to real hardware. I buy a new pc and it doesn't even know what a yahoo is!
Yahoo wanted to move out of beta?
"Create something we can boot in and make hardware"
The show is suffering because you don't own the theater now.
Here is my googlebrowser project.
