Date: 08.20.1989 This picture of Neptune was produced from the last whole planet images taken through the green and orange filters on the Voyager 2 narrow angle camera. Here we see a ship roughly 250-500 km in size docking in the "small" crater at the top of the image. The biosphere and it's exaust fumes are clearly visable. It is not a scratch on your eye, your monitor or the camera. There is a hole in the planet, a ship and debris behind it.
The shape of the ship is even more obvious. ♆
