Early days
Past history teaches that technological trailblazing and inventiveness do not of themselves lead to a viable industry and that success today requires a focussed collaboration of stakeholders - technical, entrepreneurial, financial and official. Nor can the private sector alone deliver the goods; governments have to be involved too, along with a public that is generally supportive.
